The next addition to the Skoda range is all set for April 2010 launch. Customers can track down the new Skoda Yeti at Allams this summer
Allams Skoda is offering customers in Epsom & surrounding areas a unique opportunity to preview Skoda's new Yeti ahead of its official UK launch in September.

Yeti - the fifth and newest member of the Skoda family - will be uncaged for a short time before launch, and will be on a UK-wide tour this summer. Combining all the rugged strengths of a 4x4 with the practicality and running costs of hatch, Yeti is a true crossover vehicle that drivers will love to own.

Yeti has attracted extremely strong reviews in the motoring media where it has proved it is just as at home conquering the urban jungle as it is in the wilderness.

We've just taken delivery of our very first facelifted Octavia vRS, we ordered an estate version fitted with the latest 2.0TSi 200PS engine as found in the new VW Scirocco and is quite different from the older TFSi engine as found in the MKIV Golf GTi.

Our particular model is fitted with the 6 speed DSG gearbox with paddles. We also ordered this showroom model with Columbus satnav, Bluetooth, Xenons with AFS II, 18" alloys, parking sensors, auto wipers and a whole host of options to make this vRS something really special, make no mistake the combination of the Octavia chassis with 200PS of turbo power on tap this is indeed a Very Rapid Skoda.

The New Skoda Yeti should be available from September 2009.

The Yeti will be available in either 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive and we believe will have new engines available such as 1.2 TSi Petrol Turbo and 2.0TDi Common Rail Diesel.

Allams hosted an open day for the Briskoda members on Saturday 21st Feb, with a range of models available to test drive including a new Superb 3.6 DSG.

The day was blessed with sunshine and the Briskoda members were happily testing out all the vehicles along with admiring each others cars. A buffet was provided and a quiz was arranged with prizes of free servicing and valets as well as the Allams technicians being onsite to carry out free vehicle health checks on any Briskoda members vehicle.

What used to be the difficult art of 'chipping' a cars ECU to gain more power has now been made a lot easier thanks to the advancements of modern day electronics as long as your car has a OBD or OBD II port we can increase your cars performance,  in some cases quite substancially with no detrimental affects to your car infact you may even gain a few MPG.

We will be able to tune anything within the VW Group range so any Skoda, SEAT, Volkswagon, and Audi can be remapped and also selected Porsches can be tuned.

Your car will as part of the tuning package be checked over for any faults or recalls before the remap is carried out, once the remap is complete the car will be roadtested and then handed back to you to enjoy.

Details of the up and coming Skoda Superb have been announced by Skoda. Here at Allams we are very excited by this new model.

Astonishingly the new Superb is 35mm longer than the outgoing model and has gained 19mm more rear legroom making this already roomy car into something truly special.

You will have the choice of 3 diesel and 3 petrol engines. From the petrol you will be given the choice of a brand new 1.4TFSi (turbo & supercharger as found in the Golf GT) or the 1.8TFSI which has been recently launced in the Octavia, and as a range topping engine to replace the outgoing 2.8 V6, Skoda have announced they will be fitting the new Superb with a smooth 3.6 V6 producing a mighty 260bhp.

Your choice of diesels will start off with the 1.9TDi then going up to the 2.0TDi with a choice of either a 140bhp version or a 170BHP version. DSG gearboxes will be available on all engines expect the entry the 1.4TSFi and the 1.9TDi, there will be a new 7 speed DSG gearbox on the 1.8TSFi.
